Facial Recognition

Research paper to be written on an approved topic related to criminal investigations, to be between 8 and 10 pages in length. This assignment is kept deliberately broad to give student the opportunity to make this paper their own and to research a topic related to the course that interests them.  The page limit does not include cover page, charts, graphs, images or reference pages.   This is a research paper, not an opinion paper.  You must use APA format; you must include in-text citations and a reference list.  You must cite appropriately; citations must be used for any material or ideas that are not originally yours.  Proper grammar, structure and formatting are expected.  This means no slang, no “text language” or emoticons. You will need to hand in a hard copy of this paper in class on the day it is due, as well as submit an electronic copy of the paper on Canvas on the due date before class.  This paper is considered to be a writing assignment, but as it is your final research paper, it will be accorded the weight of multiple writing assignments.  If you have questions or need assistance with this assignment, please do not hesitate to ask.
