Read the ethical story that I have attached, then consider that you are Fred, then do the following :
• Briefly summarize both the facts of the case as you understand them, and what you consider the overall ethical issues that arose during this project and your time at Phaust.
• Summarize the specific ethical issues you directly faced, how you tried to deal with them, be honest about where you were successful and where you were not, and indicate where you sought guidance from above or input from your employees, or should have.
• Address your relationship with each of the other two groups (Fred/Wally/management) (remember that each will be speaking to the PE board); how was this relationship helpful or not helpful to you (such as Wally’s “One Rule”?). How did you deal with the others, how could/should you have dealt with them?
• Discuss the overall Phaust corporate atmosphere. Are there issues with the company culture? Do appropriate company policies get communicated to the appropriate constituents? What could/should be changed at Phaust to lessen the likelihood of another Incident at Morales
