Since acceleration is not constant, the time is calculated in small intervals of 5 km/hr.  As it is important to give the best performance of the vehicle, the mass of the vehicle is assumed to be the same as the one used in calculating the maximum velocity.  It is also assumed that the acceleration test is conducted by a professional driver.
