+1 862 207 3288 Directions: Do data analysis on something you are interested in. You are going to be graded based on how you show your knowledge of
statistics that you have acquired from this class. The grading Criteria in detail are 1-5 below. (Can use Excel). A copy must be
printed and handed in on due date.
What I am looking for:
1. Strong topic: (20pts)
ex: Interesting topic; A study that you find fun and will provide meaningful and interesting conclusions.
2. Using descriptive measurements like, median, mode, 5 # summary to describe your data set. (20pts)
ex: Calculating median, mean, mode, standard deviation etc.
3. Illustration of graphs and how they are used to better find trends and patterns in your study. (20pts)
ex: Depending on data type, bar charts, histograms, dot plots, pie charts etc.
4. Using probability in your study. (20pts)
ex: Using classical probability, permutations etc.
5. Finding meaningful and sound conclusions based on purpose of study. (20pts)
ex: A topic or study that you found fun, educational or both.
