Critical evaluation of a research article on marketing ethics

you have to select one academic article of your choice, from amongst those in the

course specification, on Moodle, or any other one as long as it pertains to marketing

ethics.

Your task is to write a reaction paper of 2,500 words. A reaction paper is a summary

of, and reflections on, a reading (or more readings for a given topic). In the first part of

the paper, identify and expand upon the 2-4 key ideas or themes covered in the article

(or try to find a few common threads across them if you engage with more readings).

Each theme should be linked to marketing ethics and you should support your analysis

with the use practical examples. Then in the second part, reflect on how these key

themes can be linked to other readings. It is essential that you read other journal

articles/books to support your analysis. I expect a minimum of 10 proper academic

references. You might also wish to discuss your own opinion at certain points of the

paper. Make sure you present evidence to back up your own opinion, thus turning it

into a scholarly argument, whether or not it differs from that of the author(s).
