This essay will discuss the effect of television on todays modern children. It will also reflect and analyse changes that have occurred over the years and discuss how this has impacted on childhood in general. It will look at how views towards children and childhood have changed the way television is perceived and how it has evidently narrowed the gap substantially between childhood and adulthood. It will analyse the view that television is shaping childhood as well as entertaining children.
