Michele is from Southern Italy and his first language is Italian. He is thirty three years works in a sports centre. Since Italy joined the European Union he has wanted to come and work in UK. His ambition is to work in UK as a Gym trainer. He has realised that this will involve communicating in English with the users and staff at the Gym. As a consequence, he has signed up for a language improvement course at ISE in Brighton….(short extract)
