American Foreign Policy Goals

This activity requires you to assume the role of president of the United States and determine the course of American foreign policy. You have become a decision maker, but without a staff of advisors.

For your first post, respond to the question, “If you were president of the United States what should be the goals of American foreign policy today?” Select at least three goals you would pursue as president. Explain your rationale for the goals selected and explain how you would carry them out. If you wish, add any constraints you think you might encounter in implementing these goals.
