Health Literacy
Health literacy is defined as ?the degree to which individuals have the capacity to obtain, process, and understand basic health information and services needed to make appropriate decisions? (White, 2008 as cited in Ingram & Kautz, 2012). Please watch the AMA Health Literacy Video (4.5 minutes), it is very interesting.
