You have to do a link between the text of « boys and girls » by Alice Munroe, “hills like a white elephants” by Ernest Hemingway and the book of Kate Chopin “the awakening”.

When you use a quote from the book you have to put in blanket the name of the author and the number of the chapter.

When you use a quote from the text you have to put in blanket the name of the author and the number of the page From the text that I send to you.
Ex : « …. » (Munroe 2)
When you use a quote from an external source you have to put the name of the author and the article’ title in blanket;
You have to underline the quote that you use in one color and interline in other color the other source. Each sources have to be underline with a color different for another.
Please use direct quote in the research paper sometimes.
