The Community Nursing Practice Model

1. Start your answer by providing a brief overview of the theory. Summarize the readings in your words.
2. Then discuss what you think the theory actually means and how you see the theory being utilized in actual practice (or if you don’t think it can be then explain why).
3. Provide a very brief nursing situation and how the theory or an aspect of the theory can be useful in the situation (do not use the scenarios used in the book).
4. Conclude with what you think about the theory and its usefulness to nursing. Please do not be afraid to say what you really think. If you think the theory is “BS” then say that. If you think the theory is really great then tell us why.
5. Your answer should be approximately 2 pages in APA (2010) format.
6. References should be no older than 5 years. Use at least 3 references including the book and the chapter below:

In any in-text citation, please place the page number after the year of the book, for instance: (Park & Smith, 2014, pp. 105-106), or (Park & Smith, 2014, p. 105), or Park & Smith (2014) explains that….. (p. 78).

Please also put the title of the chapter where you got the information right before the name of the book used. Please put specific pages used in the chapter in the references even if you only use 1 page for the in-text citation.
