the journal articles. compare and contrast all three articles
Your paper should address the following three sections:
a. What were the articles for your topic about; briefly summarize the authors? arguments. What
special contribution or specific focus did the articles bring to your topic? Are there any common
themes running through the articles? If so, what? How do these articles fit within the broader
study of terrorism? (worth 30% of the paper)
b. Summarize the nature of the research you found in the articles. For example: Are the authors
providing basic information and data for others to use in policy planning and response? Do the
authors recommend particular policies or programs or make a particular argument? Do the
authors try to develop theories or models about terrorism? Is there an effort to conduct empirical
studies? Is it mostly quantitative or qualitative research. One way to conceive of this part of the
paper is to ask yourself; What are the authors trying to do? Why did they write the article or
provide the information? (worth 30% of your paper)
c. Finally, evaluate the worth of the articles you read. What do you understand now about
terrorism that you did not before you read the articles. As an instructor, would you assign this
article to future classes. Why or why not? Based on what you have learned, provide at least two
questions you would like future research to answer or explore regarding this topic. (This section
will be worth 20% of your paper).
The remainder of the grade for your paper (20%) will be based on your organization, structure, and
