Study Guidelines for Chapter 1: The Interpersonal Process Approach
in the Teyber and McClure text before our first class. It is the densest chapter in the text but summarizes the text. I am attaching Chapter 1, the Preface/Table of Contents, and a Study Guide that I would like you to complete and submit at the beginning of the first class. The Study Guide is aimed at helping you identify the key points in the chapter.
There is a 9 questions based on the readings, Please complete those questions.
Taking detailed notes on Chapter 1: The Interpersonal Process Approach will help you write your first paper for SWK 5443 Advanced Practice with Individuals. This chapter identifies the key points covered in Interpersonal Process in Therapy: An Integrative Model (Teyber, E. & McClure, F., 2011) which is one of your two requires texts.
During the first class, you will apply the covered areas in small group discussions.
