1)  Pick  one song or  instrumental  piece (“Pray for Me Brother” by A R Rahman),  and  within two  minutes explain why  someone  should love it—persuade the

audience. It is  not  a  research  project.  Having  said  that,  you  will  present  a persuasive argument  from memory (without written notes). Use strong reasons

that support your positionand truly reflect genuine emotions,  i.e.,  be in  truth  with  yourself.  You can address  anything  you  want.  Here  are some suggestions:

make your point based on the music, or artist’s skill, or a particular genre, or a musical instrument, or an unforgettable life experience, etc.

You can make up a story that will persuade the audience to love the song. (I am not informing them, I will be persuading them to love the song). Please be a little

creative.
