Satire Synthesis

As the title suggests, the goal of your synthesis paper is to discuss how your research combined to inform your satirical project. In the introduction, create engaging context surrounding how this social issue you satirize exists in American society. Conclude your introduction with a statement that summarizes/parallels the argument presented in your project (essentially, your thesis).

In order to provide a clear structure to your paper, include discussion on all of the following topics in your body paragraphs:

• What interests do you have in the social issue?
• What knowledge did you have about the topic before you began your research?
• What is the most informative idea from each source?
• How did your research contribute to your project?
• What are the most valuable details of information your learned during your research?
