Psychology of Comedians

This is a psychology literature review for a research proposal to study comedians. I need some help writing up the following topics.

It?s all within the domain of philosophy of mind, but my perspective in this research borrows from existential psychology, evolutionary psychology and social psychology.

References from philosophers are acceptable, but the majority must come from psychology.

The following sections outline my research proposal (to study comedians).

What is it?
Can we measure it?
What do ?authentic? people do?
i.e. what are the phenomenons (or features) of a person?s ?authentic? experience?

2. Construction of Meaning (700 words)
How do we construct meaning?
Can we measure our ability to construct meaning?

3. Psychology of Dialectics (500 words)
What is dialectics?
Specifically, what is ?synthesis??
