Philosophy

Second, pick two philosophers who we have studied this semester to analyze what you’ve watched and to decide what you think we should do.

Grading Criteria:
1) Explained what you believe our ethical responsibility is (Examples: write letters to government officials, protest, educate others, boycott products)
2) Using the philosophy of the two philosophers that you have chosen explain why we have an ethical responsibility

3) Analysis of the video should be clear

4) Analysis of the philosopher should be accurate and supported from the text (remember even indirect quotes need a citation)

5) Grammar and style are clear and easy to follow

Other information:
• Papers will probably be 4-7 pages (double space, times new roman font, 12 pt., 1 inch margins)
• You may use any citation style (MLA, APA, Chicago) just be consistent
• Include a Works Cited Page (each philosopher should have her/his own entry; treat each selection as an article in an edited anthology)
• Philosophy papers should be written in present tense
• Philosophy papers should use first person or third person pronouns (I, we, they, she/he) not second person prounouns
• Philosophy papers should use gender inclusive language, not he/him/man/mankind (you may leave quotes in the
