INSTRUCTIONS
Answer each part of the following question as thoroughly as possible using the guidelines provided below. Points will be deducted from essays

that are not properly developed. This essay is worth 30% of your final grade. Exams that are not received by 9:05am on 10/27/15 will not be

graded.

FORMAT: The essay should be 5 to 7 full pages in length, using proper essay format (typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced

with one-inch margins all around, and MLA parentetic citations). Number every page. Cite all quoted and paraphrased information used to

answer any portion of each question. A corresponding MLA-formatted Bibliography is required. An essay missing either of these will receive a

grade of zero. Please clearly label and answer all parts of the question clearly for credit.

STRUCTURE: Be sure to touch upon a major philosophical concept or definition within the assigned readings. You may include a historical or

comparative perspective using resources other than the primary text; you may draw comparisons between different philosophical concepts and

the one presented in the primary text (from the assigned readings). When explaining your position, be as thorough as possible and keep to a

focused thesis or main point. BE SURE to have a clear thesis and to use authoritative primary and secondary sources to defend it.

(B) How is judgement affected by perspective? (C) What moral and social conflicts arise in most attempts to convey an objective ethical

decision? Begin by defining all main terms. Use examples from Plato, Aristotle, and related philosophers to formulate your response.
