There are several themes present at the beginning of the book, among them 1) judicial rulings and jurisdiction, 2) Star Trek: The Next Generation, and 3) a ghost. Choose one of these themes and analyze its use in the novel so far and how it contributes to the book’s meaning. Make sure to support your analysis with examples from the novel. If you revise this as a unit essay, reflect on how this theme is used throughout the book, not just the first 187 pages.
