The use of sanction measures by the Security Council including consideration of the different contexts of use and the employment of targeted/smart sanctions and the fair process challenges related to the same

Papers should be typed in size 12 font, double spaced. The focus of the course is on \”Law and Practice of the United Nations\”.

How are UN sanctions employed presently and in what contexts? – What fair process challenges arise in the context of targeted sanctions and what steps have been taken to address the same? – Scenarios of lifting sanctions on Iran and its future impact on the stability and security of the region.
