Personal Outline:
Thesis Sentence: The rise in popularity of Korean Dramas has had a positive effect overall on the Korean economy as many of these shows reach viewers on a global scale; however, the government?s control over public media only produces a positive nationalistic point of view of Korean culture in order to sell Korean products to other countries, and the only way to obtain a realistic look at Korean culture is to delve into the government policies, the production company structures, and the life of a pop idol.
