Just how globalized do toys become when they are combined with movies, celebrities, tv-shows, cartoon-characters, or global issues? How locally adapted are they to various markets, if at all?

For this assignment, become a kid again and immerse yourself in the world of toys, from GI_Joes and Barbie, classics like Monopoly and Risk, to Playstation, X_Box, bicycles and skateboards, to  everything else in between. Check out the manufacturers, their corporate websites and consumer venues, digital/online marketing, and more.

Consequently, skim through the entertainment industry, and see who and what becomes immortalized as a “toy” for kids and teenagers, or even influences the creation of new categories of games.
