1. You are required to interview a Human Resource Manager/Executive (from any organisation or from your own organisation) to identify the procedure/process for handling the following practices in the said organisation:
a) Employee misconduct (including major and minor misconducts) in the organisation. If dismissal is the eventual result ¡V discuss the practices adopted by the organisation in dismissing employee on the grounds of misconduct

b) Confirmed employees with poor performance problems. If dismissal is the eventual result ¡V discuss the practices adopted by the organisation in dismissing employee on the grounds of poor performance.

c) Employees on probation with poor performance.
(20 marks) NOTE: If the company you interviewed is a unionised company, you are required to explain the role of unions in all the above three situations. [TOTAL: 60 MARKS]
2. Based on the information obtained from the interview described above, you are required to compare and discuss the extent to which the practices are in compliance to law of termination and dismissal in Malaysia in relation to:
a) Employee misconduct and poor performance

b) Status of probationers
