2) the dissertation is for project management for the companies in healthcare sector, specifically the projects for biomedical engineering that is to do maintenance and management of medical equipments at hospitals or any healthcare sector
Statement of Research Problem: for a consistent business results delivery and staying ahead of nowadays competitive universal economy, companies are addressing to project management. McKnight & CO (2010) emphasize the realization of business delivery outcome through success of projects, and in aspect this is the way how organizational success can be driven by project management strategies. The importance of project management is as a technique to master spending and boost project’s results. For cost and risk decrement adherence to project management strategies and approaches are suggested by most of literatures. Ron Kasabian claims that a pleasant project management regimen can stop spending budget on projects that are unsuccessful. In terms of project size; Turner, Ledwith & Kelly (2010) pint out the less requirement of bureaucratic kind of PM for the small to medium SMEs sized project than large projects. They also define the medium size project as more than 50 employees with several business units. To characterized what is happening with medium size firms in terms of how effectively they are using project management. Project management can facilitate the SMEs firms to build a contribution to the economy and frugality for growth, innovation, and employment. Hence, this research is to recognize the nature of PM required by medium size firms in UAE to deliver the most effective, value, and benefit with project outcomes and results.
Statement of Research Question: Increasingly most of the firms seek to utilize and growth the way of managing projects assets and resource effectively. The firms use projects to accomplish objectives strategically and operationally and to accommodate to a fast dynamic environment of the market. For these organizations to grow the project management capability effectively is important to success competitively (Brady & Davies 2004). The capability of doing the work of projects for a firm can be delivered by effective project management. For a project to be done an effective project management is a capability. Deeper and deeper firms choose project job as responsive and reliable framework for their products development; Projects are notably are advisable and appropriate for learning (Schindler & Eppler 2003). More and More scholars distinguish between different interrogate methods and their uses in project management; for example Schindler & Eppler (2003) analyze between two debriefing methods of process and documentation-based; they describe the process based as an approach that is procedural for capturing crucial and basic learning from project, while the other method of documentation base is a suitable representation layout and framework of project intuitiveness. However, this research explores to answer the question of how to improve project management capability in medium size companies in UAE?
Specific Aims of the research: For better implementation and exercise of project management methodology in medium size organizations and projects, a model is to be developed built on a research effort. The aim of this research is to: (1) explore improvement models for effective project management; (2) show how the explored model can be applied to medium size companies in UAE

1) To do a case study analysis on my organization
2) To complete a literature review on different models available for project management improvement
3) To analyze the properties of different models for this organization
Summary:
This research is to present a model of improving project management capability in medium size companies in UAE. The particular case study on ABC Company is one example of companies in this relatively relish industry market happens to be in UAE as well. There are some approaches more successful than other approaches. This research is to show how to help similar organization to grow project management capability effectively at the same time while continuing to run portfolio of projects.
