“How to Be a Good Wife” in the module “Gender Roles of the 1950s.” The power point is a list, taken from a 1950’s highschool/home economics textbook. It was a book used to teach young girls “how to be a good wife.” This particular excerpt helps us understand how gender roles were created and how they are perpetuated even today. It is not just family and tradition that support the continuance of gender roles, it is our institutions.

For this discussion assignment, please respond to the question: how does this source explain the expectations for men and women today?Also,answer three of the questions I have posted in the NOTES section of the power point at the bottom of several slides.
