this is for art history class. the assignment is to choose a monument in front of the state house and the statue i chose to talk about is: george washington statue.

On or near the grounds of the State House are several sculptural monuments to individuals or groups of individuals. Choose one of these and write a one- to two-page report in which you:

2. Discuss how the actual monument honors the subject.
3. What do you think of the monument? Does the work honor them effectively or correctly? Does this person or group deserve to be honored? I want to know your thoughts on the work.
