write a paper defining the quality standard metrics in a chosen healthcare setting. Students may use the healthcare setting chosen for the mission statement assignment in this course, or they may choose a different healthcare setting. Students will describe the metrics needed to measure the success of the department/service lines and include how managers will communicate those metrics with staff, providers, administrators and patients/customers. Students will outline goals a manager might set for this organization, as well as the metrics used to determine if those goals are reached. Students will chose one metric and create an opportunity for improvement outline that describes how the manager would involve the staff, providers or administrators in that improvement effort. This paper will be 5-7 pages in length not including title or reference pages and in proper APA format.
