The Australian Film, Television and Radio School have commissioned you to write a research report on the subject of “Film Styles and Movements Throughout History.” Your research report must address one specific historical film movement, and provide insightful information about the movement’s historical/social/cultural context, visual style, aural style, key techniques and legacy. Your report should both analyse the movement by drawing on examples from a range of notable films, as evaluate a contemporary film that can be considered a modern iteration of the style. You should also refer to a range of suitable and credible research sources (including pictures) and provide a comprehensive list of all references.
