FBA / BIP Functional Behavioral Assessment and corresponding Behavioral Intervention Plan Project
20 points Total: Functional Behavioral Assessment and corresponding Behavioral Intervention Plan Project:
Every individual will do an FBA and a corresponding Behavioral Intervention Plan on approved forms. There are several choices to forms that will be made available for you. However, forms do not drive the FBA or BIP, the process does, that is vital to understand. Our job within this class is to help you understand the process. Each school district may use their own forms, however, you need to fully understand the process and have the required components. Therefore the grading criteria specified below indicates what will be used to derive a grade for your project. It does not matter what form you use, you most likely will have to add on sections to ensure all points of the grading criteria are addressed. At the completion of this class your FBA and BIP may be used in your Master’s portfolio. Please note that you are individually responsible to turn in your FBA and BIP project. Without question each individual must turn in his or her own individualized project. This assignment will be handed in as documented on the weekly calendar. All assignments handed in late are subject to lower points as described in class. The grading criteria listed below will describe how the grading for the final project will be derived. Even if you have submitted information in sections or within class activities throughout the course a final FBA/BIP project that is completely put together using the grading criteria listed below as your guideline for the components of the project, must be submitted for grading on the date required as documented on the weekly calendar.
