ASSIGNMENT:

2.    Obtain the data listed for the following categories of economic activity in the US, for the time period 2012, first quarter to 2014, third quarter: (1) educational services; (2) finance and insurance; and, (3) agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting.
3.    Create an SPSS file which includes the data described above.
4.    Create at least two descriptive charts or diagrams which illustrate: (1) the comparative importance of these industries in the time period selected, and; (2) the trends shown for each category over this time period. Include a short (1-2 paragraph) discussion of your interpretation of the meaning of the charts.

Grading rubric:
1.    Labeling, clarity and understandability of descriptors- 3 pts.
2.    Accuracy of data entry, charts- 5 pts.
3.    Short discussion- 2 pts.
