Paper instructions:

You are to select a problem/issue that is significant to the Recreation and/or Tourism/Hospitality profession that has regional, national, or international importance. Collect the following before you write the paper:

1. A MINIMUM of 3 journal articles (the word “journal” should be in the title; for example, (Journal of Leisure Research).

2. A minimum of 3 newspaper articles.

3. A minimum of 2 internet sources.

4. A minimum of 2 popular literature sources.

Thus, you will have a minimum of 10 references for a “C” grade.

Develop a problem/thesis statement.

Confirm the problem.

DISCUSS the problem/issue in-depth using appropriate citations.

Discuss approaches to resolution that are most appropriate to the profession.
