You are the manager/owner of your business choice from Module 1. Your
employees are having difficulties deciding which communication medium they
should use in various situations. Write a 3-4 page paper on choosing the most
effective communication medium for varying situations. Use specific examples
of situations and tell why they should use the preferred method of
communication. When should you use an email, letter, memo, report, etc?
Include a title page and reference section. Page count does not include either
the title page or the reference page. Use at least 4 but no more than 7
references with at least 2 references from a scholarly journal article (use the
TUW library databases).
Writing expectations include competency in the following:
Sentence Structure
Verb Tense and Agreement
Pronoun Use
Possessive Use
Punctuation
Spelling
Focus and Organization
Hints
If you use a quote from an author, you must provide a page number
(or in the case of an electronic reference, a section or paragraph
number [§ or ¶]). Conversely, if you don’t use a quote, don’t give a
page number. Use these symbols in your citations: [§ or ¶].
Use the same font and font size throughout your paper. Double-space
throughout (including between sections and your references).
Use page breaks instead of hitting the “Enter” key 20 times to get to
the next page.
Do not use “too many” quotes and do not use any long quotes. I would
rather have you paraphrase the authors. Besides, quotes do not count
toward your page total (and I know you can do a better job
paraphrasing)!
Must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins and typed in 12-point
Times New Roman.
