The current thesis that I have is as follows: “In this paper, I intend to argue that through its spatial construction and monumentality, Disney Concert Hall preserves the rhetoric of
casualness in Los Angeles, in the otherwise unusual setting of Downtown, and redefines the metropolitan realm of the city by becoming a “living room”. For my thesis I need it to be able to answer how the rhetoric of casualness can tell us about LA or Bunker Hill? And more importantly how does the Concert Hall fit within the context of the city given what Frank Gehry has said about it. This needs to be framed into a clear thesis that makes sense as is not an opinion but an argument.
I also need Chicago citations based on my own writing and the remaining pages so that it follows a logical argument. I think looking at the building’s interior and the inside acoustics of it give away a lot. Also, in the start I made a short comparison between the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Disney Concert Hall
