Each state, including Texas, has its own constitution, one that provides a legal governing framework within that state. While each state constitution has many things in common with each other, there may still be some stark differences that set one state’s constitution apart from another state’s constitution.
For your assignment, compare the Texas constitution with another state’s constitution and in doing so, answer these following questions in detail.
1) Discuss ONE substantive similarity between the Texas Constitution your chosen state’s constitution? How are they similar? Explain your answer (10 points).
2) Discuss ONE substantive difference you find between the two documents. What makes this difference so particular? Explain your answer (10 points).
3) Should this difference become amended into the Texas constitution? Explain why or why not (10 points).
