Develop a companywide ethics audit
REQUIRMENT: As the newly appointed Vice President of Ethics Management, you have been given the responsibility to develop a companywide ethics audit.
The direction you have received is as follows: The audit must:
1. Be consistent with the mission statement of the company and its business goals.
2. Reflect the value ethics of the firm and reflect expected behavior from co-workers and senior management – code of ethics (if it exists). 3. Measurable so performance over time can be tracked and evaluated
4. Include marketing strategy efforts for cause-related activities and product design and makeup
5. Consider public or societal image for the benefit of the stakeholders – customers, employees, distributors and suppliers. (Refer to the “The Power – Responsibility Equilibrium”).
6. Ease of implementation so that all employees and departments can share in its execution and understanding
