Present a clearly articulated research question, argument, and conclusion
Be thorough! And do your research! — make sure to access research material that helps you understand and describe your case study as well scholarly literature (popular press, industry press, interviews, social media traces, etc) that help you analyze your case study
Components that I expect to see in your paper:
Introduction – present thesis/research question/argument/etc and introduce your study
Describe case study (briefly) – include descriptions of the elements you will analyze; include descriptions of your findings (or the material that you will analyze in a later section)
Describe how you studied this particular case – what sources did you use? did you use a particular method of analysis? — I want to know what evidence you’re drawing on to make your conclusions
Literature review – present what we already know about your topic or case study – draw on a range of sources to do this = class material, outside scholarly literature, popular press, industry press, etc
Discussion and Analysis – this is where you present your analysis and how you make sense of your case study, or how you want others to understand your case study. Draw on previous literature presented in the literature review section in order to make original claims about your case study.
