Notes: To discuss this question, you have to analyse and discuss from Canon 330 to canon 341. Focus on the role of the Pope and the College of the Bishops in the

Catholic Church (Article 1: The Roman Pontiff and Article 2: The College of the Bishops). Their roles express satisfactorily the theology of the Catholic Church or not

(for example: The Church is apostolic because she was founded on the Apostles by Christ himself. She was and remains built on the foundation of the apostles who was

chosen by Christ and sent out on mission. The Pope is Peter’s successor and the College of the Bishops is also the apostles’ successors who together with the Pope (the

head of the Church) govern the Church and continue Jesus’ mission on earth).

For example: only the Pope has the right to gather the Council and the role of the College of the Bishop is to help the Pope to govern the Church.

You also have to read the Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church on Parts:
1) Dogmatic Constitution on the Church(Lumen Gentium, 21 November 1964)
2) The Church is Hierarchical (chapter 3).
3) Decree on the Pastoral Office of the Bishop in the Church (Christus Dominus, 28 October 1965).

4) Read the Catechism of the Catholic Church on part “ The Catholic is Apostolic”- from number 857 to 896.
