Book response
Keep in mind that this is not supposed to be a book report. Based on the discussions presented in
the book of your choice, you are expected to write an essay engaging with the author�s points
about the potentials and limits of formal law and policy to the pursuit of inclusion and justice for
LGBTQ individuals. In order to do that, you should outline and address the book�s main
arguments, providing supporting material that corroborates or counters the author�s points.
Remember that your paper should develop a clear central argument. This response should be
based on your own thinking about the book, but should be backed up by research. You are
therefore expected to draw on a minimum of 3 academic sources (e.g., journal articles, chapters in
edited volumes, or academic book-length studies) in developing your response
