arguments
of the book. Do not try to cover everything. If you do, your paper will
be broad and superficial. I am looking for depth. It should include how the author
organizes and conveys the material and present a discussion about the potential
impact of the book.

very specific
and refer to particular
passages, sections, episodes and chapters in the book. Your paper should have a
clearly developed thesis around which your argument is developed and
elaborated.

Your reflection paper paper should comment on and evaluate the work in the light
of
specific issues
and
theoretical concerns
related to communication and culture.
You should draw on your textbook and make
conceptual connections
between
the Fadiman’s book and your textbook. You are encouraged to additional research
on health communication and narrative medicine to develop and elaborate your
ideas. Remember
always
to provide both appropriate in-text citations
and
a works
cited page.
