Analysis of cases

1) Identify your assigned sector (Business, Society or Government).

2) Analyse and discuss the actions and ideologies of your assigned sector (B, S or G).
3) Identify and analyse the key issues raised in the case.
4) Identify the different positions, the conflicts between the parties and the ethical dilemmas, from the perspective of the sector (B, S or G) that you have been assigned.
5) Report on the issues that might affect this sector. If these issues are not explicitly stated, using the information provided and your own knowledge of business, government and society, you should indicate what the relevant issues might be.

In your individual report, you should demonstrate your understanding of the relevant concepts needed to explain the complexities of the case. You will need to draw on the themes, theoretical perspectives and concepts discussed in the readings and learning notes from Module 2 (if only learning from Module 1 – sociological imagination and ethical reasoning – is demonstrated, a fail will result).
