There are four key requirements in dev eloping the Individual research report

1. Identify and describe two key concepts/points from any of

the weekly prescribed readings and discuss

their importance in the context of current accounting information systems issues or
challenges.

2. Con uct independent research to identify and evaluate four references (two for each point) that present
evidence of issues

or challenges for the areas you have identified. These references may be case
studies, industry surveys,white papers, government policy or

other types of scholarly or practitioner

based research. The references need to be well-focused to av oid v ague generalisations. The
materia s

need to be reviewed with a critical eye, synthesised, summarised and integrate d.
3. Draw informed conclusions. This will require

you to draw and build upon your knowledge and experience

of the weekly materials and learning activities.

4. Prepare a written re ort (no

more than 1500 wordsrof yourfindings. You may also use appendices to

provide supporting evidence. The appendices are not included in the

word limit forthe report, but

should not exceed 1000 words.
