Project description
Analyze the ethical dimensions of your chosen issue. Identify the various stakeholders, their interests and sources and influence. Identify a stakeholder (from part 2) with the position and interests that most closely matches what you have earlier concluded(in part 1) is an ethically preferable position. Provide recommendations for what your chosen stakeholder should do to maximally influence the situation in its preferred direction.

Overview:
This project is to be completed as a 3 member team (2

member teams are
possible
with the instructor’s permission
) You will choose a topic relevant to our course
in consultation with me and
then prepare a 15 page paper on the topic and also give a 15
minute in
--
depth presentation to the class (with Q&A). The paper will:
1.
analyze the ethical dimensions of your chosen issue
2.
identify the various stakeholders, their interests, and sources of influ
ence.
3.
identify a stakeholder (from part 2) with position and interests that most closely
matches what you have earlier concluded (in part 1) is an ethically preferable
position.
4.
provide recommendations for what your chosen stakeholder should do to
maxima
lly influence the situation in its preferred direction (drawing especially on
your analysis in part 2 ).
Timing:
There are four major milestones for this proje

Selection of your topic (in consultation w

Submitting an outline of your

paper with
annotated
references
(see
below).

Submitting a full draft of your

Submitting a final draft of your
team
paper along with slides for your
team’s

ntation.
Note that these are the
latest
dates for each milestone.

will review each of your submissions and provide feedback as needed.
Formatting:
The paper should be double
--
spaced using Times New Roman 12
--
point font
w
ith 1” margins T/B/L/R.
References:
In the body of the paper you should provide proper references for quotes and
not

generally
--
known inform
ation, using the APA style (see
http://libguides.southernc
t.edu/citations
for help on proper citation, avoiding plagiarisms,
and details on APA style).
You
may
use background information from
our textbook or other
assigned
readings
,

act you are encouraged to do so
, but you need to
do additional
research

nd those readings
. In particular you should use
both print
and online
sources
(at least 2 print sources and 3 online sources). At the end of the p
aper (and not
included in the 15
pages) you should append an
annotated list
of references
used in the
paper
.
