Reaction Paper 2

Reaction Papers — Each student will prepare and submit a summary of each scholarly article and reaction to the writing style utilized by the author addressing clarity and objectivity together with a reaction to the substantive content of the articles. You may critique the writing style, the way in which the topic was addressed, and the research methods used including sample selection, method of data collection, etc. Each reaction paper must be four and only four pages in length with exactly two pages of review and summary and exactly two pages of analysis and reaction. You should place the title Article Summary at the top of the first page and the title Reaction at the top of the third page. It is sometimes difficult to summarize a lengthy scholarly article in just two pages and also sometimes difficult to have two pages of relevant reaction and analysis of the work. For this reason the page requirements on this assignment are strict and the grade will be diminished if you stray too far from the two page rule for each section of each of the two required reaction papers. Remember not to place any of the summary in the reaction section which is a very common weakness in this assignment. Completed papers are to be submitted through the course assignment tool in the folder on the homepage.
