1. Look over the lists of specific ESOL strategies (metacognitive, cognitive and socio-affective strategies – refer to text, ch. 19). Which ones did you use? Which would have been more helpful? How would you describe your stage of L2 proficiency development (silent period, speech emergence, etc – Ch. 19)?

➢ Most importantly, explain the implications of your experience for teaching English to ELLs. As a teacher, how will you incorporate what you have experienced and learned in educating English language learners?
