Business skills: define a business and its business and revenue model
Software skills: use Microsoft Word 2010 (or higher) to create and link html documents

Create a website about a business of your choosing – maybe one you would like to work for or one you would like to own.  You should have at least a Home page, two products or services pages, and an about page.
Create the four pages of the website and then link them together.  In the link below you can view several sample websites that have been compiled into a single PDF file.

Use Word 2010 to create an interesting home page for your website, name the file Home_yourLastName.  When you save the document, change the file type from a Word document to a Single File Web Page.
Create, with Microsoft Word 2010, a second and third page highlighting the products or services that your business offers.  Name the files PageTwo_yourLastName(Zhuang) and PageThree_yourLastName(Zhuang) and save then as Single File Web Pages.
Also with Word 2010, make an About page that describes the business, the e-commerce business model and the e-commerce revenue model of your firm.  Name it About_yourLastName.
Save all of the Word web page documents in a folder name website_yourLastName.

With all four web pages designed and stored in the folder, create links on all of the pages to be able to navigate around your website.  Every page should have a link to each of the other pages in your website.
Use the Insert Hyperlink feature of Word to insert the link.  For example, to link to the About page from your Home page, click the Hyperlink button on the Links group of the Insert tab.  With the Link to Existing File or Web Page selected, enter “About” in the text to display textbox and “About_YourLastName.mht” in the Address textbox near the bottom of the dialog box.  (See the image below.)

Open your pages in a browser to test the navigation links.
Copy your website folder to a compressed (zip) folder so that you can submit it to blackboard.

Review the Rubric descriptions for the grading criteria and proficiency levels.

ZIP YOUR FOLDER and submit the ZIP FILE to Blackboard.
