The utilization of research helps to determine how certain healthcare practices can be improved and more efficient. Once enough research proves that nursing practice efficient, it can be implemented and help improve nursing practice and patient care when it comes to issues such as fall prevent and infection control.
With more research being done on major patient care issues, Evidenced based practice will continue to be the driving force behind improving patient care and healthcare practices as a whole.
