•COMMENTS: You will definitely need to do some research for this report in a stronger way then the earlier assignments. Because you will most likely use numerical data, you will need to research the technical specifications for most candidate solutions as well as possibly pricing issues. You need to provide a complete URL and the date you accessed the information in your References page.

Feasibility/Recommendation Report
You are tasked to write a feasibility or recommendation report with the following specifications:
•    The subject must be technical in nature and be associated with, or closely related to, your major field of study. Other technical topics may be allowed with your instructor’s permission.
•    The Feasibility Report option allows you to identify a single solution for a problem, develop evaluative criteria, collect data, apply needed research methods, and determine whether the option under consideration is viable.
•    The Recommendation Report option allows you to identify two or more viable solutions for a problem, develop evaluative criteria, collect data, apply needed research methods, and determine which option under consideration is the most viable.
Follow either Outline 8.1, p. 128 of the course text, or Outline 8.2, p.129 of the course text, depending on the type of report you selected.
•    Feasibility reports must be no more than 3 ½ pages in length (including visuals).
•    Recommendation report lengths will depend on the number of options considered:
•    Two options: no more than 4 pages (including visuals);
•    Three options: no more than 5 pages (including visuals);
•    Four options: no more than 6 pages (including visuals).
•    Considering more than four options is not recommended.
•    All reports must include at least one visual.
•    If you include only one visual, it must be a table.
•    Your total visuals should not occupy more than ½ of one page.
•    Each visual must include a caption and give credit to the visual’s source (even if you created it yourself).
•    You are not required to use sources, but if you do use sources, you must cite your sources and include a Works Cited page.  Your Works Cited should appear on a separate page that is not counted toward your page limit.
