1. Reflect on Part 4 of Questlove’s essay series.  ½ page which is 137.5 word the ideas you find most intriguing.

2. Discussion 4 Part 2 – Hip-Hop Concepts Class Playlist
Find and listen to the music on the Hip-Hop Concepts class playlist.  Pick at least 5 songs that you want to focus on (pick music that is new to you).  Listen to them and analyze the content, including the musicality.  Do some research into the artists and get a sense for their influences and intentions.
Focus on your five songs, each one separately.  What are the artists trying to say in these compositions?  What is their purpose and intention?  How does this music influence your understanding of life, society, and music?  Discuss your understanding of your five songs beyond your personal likes and dislikes.
