Details of the task:

You need to produce a report but this has to be based on practical tasks integral to this assignment:

a) Analyse your target market and competitors.
b) Create a plan for development of your personal digital profile or your company.
c) Create an optimised personal digital profile portfolio sufficient to apply for a job of your choice or to promote your current company. This has to include 2 social media accounts (including LinkedIn and one other English-language platform of your choice) and one compulsory blog post.

Analysis

This section consists of 2 parts:

1. Target Market Analysis. Conduct a Search and Social Media Marketing analysis for those key attributes that are desired by your target employers or customers. This should include the keywords for main industry specific skills, key influencers and individuals who would make employment/purchasing decisions or help in your application/marketing process.

2. Competitor Analysis. Identify one of your competitors and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses in their SSMM techniques. Based on your analysis develop personal objectives that will differentiate you from your competition.

This section can include a literature review (at least five references to relevant academic or business research articles, reports and books) of latest thinking on keyword research methods, content marketing strategy, and social media influencers analysis methods.

Plan

This section includes 3 parts:

Based on your analysis, you must produce a Search and Social Media Marketing strategy for the next year that establishes a recognisable ?brand? for yourself or your company. Plan how you will target particular networks and groups to channel your overall communications.

1. SMART goals. Set one-year objectives for your website that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

2. KPI’s. Set Key Performance Indicators to measure whether your SMART objectives are being met.

3. Social Media. Select specific Social Media Services, explain why you made those choices, and how you will use them. For example if you choose Facebook, how will it help your employment or business development, why have you joined it, and whether you would link it to Twitter and why? One of your choices must be LinkedIn. In addition, you need to choose at least 1 more, but may do as many more as you think you can handle. How will your plan serve each stage of AIDA+?

4. Timeline. Create a list of key dates that start with the day the assignment was submitted and end at the end by the end of this calendar year. In addition, create a weekly agenda for your social media and blog. How many posts will you create every week? How many hours will you invest in each platform every week?

This section can include a literature review (at least five references to relevant academic or business research articles, reports and books) on digital strategy development and thinking of legal and ethical implications of you being online.

Practical plan implementation

This section includes 3 parts:

1. Blog post. Choose any blogging platform, or post on the http://creativehive.org blog. Write at least one blog post in English, which you will publish live. Include the URL in your portfolio, and the text of your post in the Appendix. Identify the keywords you are optimizing for, and other SSMM techniques as appropriate for your Search Engine Results Page (SERP) optimization. The blog should be written under the name Mohannad Hamed

2. LinkedIn profile. Create a profile on LinkedIn. Include the URL in your portfolio, and identify the keywords you are using and the reason you selected them. You should also join at least 3 groups on LinkedIn, and explain why you selected them. — (no need to do this part)

3. Social media. Create an account on at least one English-language social media platform. Make at least 10 posts. Include the URL and a screen grab of your posts in your portfolio. — (no need to do this part)
