Sargent. Frank Meyers, a local police officer, is approached by an elderly lady, Ms. Bunt, at a donut shop. She indicates there has been a lot of noisy parties and drinking in her normally quiet neighborhood and she is fearful. She offers him an extra $100.00 to patrol her street more thoroughly while on duty this weekend. Meyers clears the agreement with both the city attorney and the mayor before agreeing to it. If he patrols as promised and she decides not pay Meyers, may he enforce the terms? Fully explain your answer with a sound legal basis.
